NFL free agency: Browns, not Eagles, appear to be landing spot for Kenny Britt

The Cleveland Browns are expected to sign wide receiver Kenny Britt to a four-year, $32.5 million deal, $17 million of which is guaranteed, ESPN reported.

Two implications of the news: 1) Terrelle Pryor, who had something Cheap Dri Fit Jerseys of a breakout 2016 season at wide receiver in Cleveland, is likely headed elsewhere; 2) despite reports that Britt was going to land in Philadelphia, the Eagles went with Torrey Smith instead, signing the veteran to a three-year deal.

Britt, 28, spent the first five seasons of his NFL career with the Titans and his most recent three with the Rams. His 2016 season in L.A. was his most productive in terms of receptions (68) and yards (1,002). For his career, he has 309 catches for 4,881 yards and 30 touchdowns.

In 2010, his second season, he delighted fantasy football owners with nine touchdowns, but he hasn’t come close to that scoring production since.

Wide receiver. Over the past two seasons, the Bills have let three wideouts — Chris Hogan (New England), Robert Woods (Los Angeles Rams) and Marquise Goodwin (San Francisco) — leave via free agency. Outside of Sammy Watkins and newcomer Philly Brown (Carolina), the combined 2016 catch total of other receivers on the roster is 16. And even if the Bills sign Andre Holmes as expected, he registered only 14 receptions last year in Oakland. Tyrod Taylor doesn’t have a chance of proving he can become Buffalo’s franchise quarterback without more help.nike_steelers_2631
